News: WEST END STARS, CBEEBIES FAVOURITE AND CRAWLEY’S NUMBER ONE DAME VISIT THE HAWTH AHEAD OF PANTO

Ahead of their performance in Sleeping Beauty this Christmas West End superstar Carrie Hope Fletcher (Carrabosse), CBeebies favourite Andy Day (Jangles) and Crawley's number one Dame Michael J Batchelor headed to The Hawth to launch the show, alongside West End star Scott Paige (The Good Spirit), Chrystine Symone (Aurora) and Luke Walsh (Prince Michael).



Carrie Hope Fletcher's impressive West End credits include Les Misérables, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins and WhatsOnStage award-winning roles in Heathers, Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella, and The Addams Family. She recently completed a sell-out solo UK tour An Open Book.

Beebies favourite Andy Day as the loveable Jangles is sure to delight the thousands of families who are fans of his BAFTA-nominated series, Andy's Wild Adventures as well as Andy's Dinosaur Adventures, Andy's Prehistoric Adventures, and Andy & The Band among many others.



Scott Paige recently appeared The Great British Bake Off The Musical in the West End, and on the UK tours of The Addams Family; Nativity! and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.



Once again, the show will be written and directed by the award-winning Paul Hendy and produced by the same team behind the five-star Box Office smash-hit, All New Adventures of Peter Pan.

  Tickets: Gifted Date: 18th September 2023 Seat: G3 Rating: 3 Stars From the first chilling note to the final fiery scene, Rebecca is an all-out melodrama, complete with sinister plots, a soaring score, and characters that wouldn’t look out of place in a panto – but that’s all part of its charm. Review: BRONCO BILLY at The Charing Cross Theatre, London

Review: SLEEPING BEAUTY at The Hawth, Crawley

Date: 9th December 2023  Seat: L3 (Stalls) Tickets: Gifted Rating: 5 Stars  You can’t get much more classic than Sleeping Beauty when it comes to the annual panto, and at The Hawth in Crawley this year, it’s this story that takes centre stage – but don’t worry if you think you’ve seen it all before; there are some fantastic surprises in store, including some rather impressive prehistoric pets, fire performers, and plenty of musical theatre references throughout.  Why musical theatre? Because two of the panto’s stars are West End performers with some notable credits to their names – that’s Carrie Hope Fletcher (who plays Carrie-Bosse) from such shows as Les Miserables and Heathers , and Scott Paige (The Good Spirit Moonbeam), who’s starred in The Great British Bake Off Musical and The Addams Family .
